Every nerd must do this at least once in their life

Muslims have Hajj. I have Gen Con.

Once again, we're all piling into cars and heading off to the nerd equivalent of Mecca -- Gen Con. It'll be another four days of little sleep, lots of dice rolling and general dorking out.

The coolest thing for me right now? Grant, Tory and Kari from Mythbusters are going to be at the con! I hope I have time to see them (and if not, I might just skip out of a game or two).

This year's different. We're talking about bringing the laptop -- so there might be on-site reporting -- and we've got two roomies this time. So much for romance. Actually -- there's no romance. There's games to be played dammit!
