Why don't they release this for women too?

Brian let me know about this new product called the Philips Bodygroom. I do suggest you check out the Web site for its...well...how do you say? Oh yes...BEEP! I'm still trying to decipher what the hell he's talking about when pictures of kiwi, carrots, eggplants, apples and a fruit basket pop show up.

My only other thought regarding the instrument of hairlessness is that I wonder why they don't release one for women right off the bat too. I mean, many women shave armpits, legs and down below, so this might be good for them. Goodness knows I'm a bit squirrelly about taking a razor blade to my *BEEP*. I mean, it wouldn't be that difficult. Just paint the damn thing pink or something, because apparently, that's what differentiates between men's and women's razors -- the color of the damned handle.

Maybe the iPod craze has gone too far

We've got hats:

Socks:

And now....Underwear?

Perhaps the idea of creating cute accessories for our iPods has gone too far. Why the hell would I want to carry an iPod in my underwear?

Question for all ya'll

I'm looking to get a new messenger bag for Gen Con in August (as well as other weekend getaways) and I need some advice. I'm thinking about getting this bag.

But if you have other recommendations, that would be great. I need a bag that can do the following:

1. Has to be able to carry clothes, cell phone, wallet, iPod and other random crap for weekend trips. For Gen Con, I need a bag that can hold a lot of gaming books (which aren't that big alone, but they add up in size and weight), as well as dice, mixed nuts, a decent sized bottle of water and other odds and ends.

2. Has to have a comfortable shoulder strap that's easy to adjust.

3. Not so bulky that it becomes a duffel bag instead of a messenger bag.

4. It doesn't have to be cute, because I'll probably add patches and other girly stuff to make it my own.

Any help is appreciated!

Why the hell can't I find a cute top in size 18?

Long story short: I've got a wedding next weekend to go to. In my usual way of overthinking things and procrastinating until the last minute, I've now worked myself up into a fit of grumpiness about finding a top to go with a really cute crushed velvet skirt from Lane Bryant.

The thing is that thanks to several weddings last year and now this year, I'm trying to build up some dressy pieces so I have items to fall back on to look fabulous and cute. This time around I'm hampered by a bunch of different things:

1. I am seeking something with long sleeves because I'm going to a winter wedding. Said item also needs to have some glamour to it. Keeping warm and looking good apparently are two exclusive things in the Midwest.

2. It needs to go with said skirt, but also be versatile for other items.

Sounds simple right? Wrong. The best I could come up with is this, but I'll be damned if I pay for second day shipping on top of the overall cost of the shirt. That's more than the skirt.

I know, I know. I'm a cheap bastard.

But I noticed something as I was shopping a lot of the plus-sized Web sites -- they really like loud patterns and tops that look like tunics. Maybe it's the most flattering sort of thing for a lot of larger people, but I can't help but feel like Three's Company's Mrs. Roper in those outfits. Whatever happened to something sweet, sexy and a size 18?

Anyways, I'm going shopping with Katie tomorrow, so hopefully something will be found. I just don't want it to turn into another one of these situations.

More BASS dammit! I need more BASS!

Surfing the web, I stumbled on this link about the latest iPod accessory (NOT work safe) thanks to QGM.

Oh my. I can see that -- coupled with the new video iPods that can show porn, the iPod may actually become everything we want and more.

Then my iPod would live up to the nickname, "Sexy Beast."

iPod nano -- taking small to ridiculous heights

I was at my Friday night game when one of our friends came in with an iPod nano -- the smallest and cutest piece of electronics that I've ever seen. It's adorable. I almost want to lick it, but I'm afraid that I'd swallow it.

Don't expect to see me going out and buying one. The only one I can say that I'd upgrade to is the U2 iPod, but that's because I'm an insane fangirl. Not to mention, the iPod nano is so freaking small that I know I'd wash it by accident in my pants. After all, you're talking to the person who laundered her cell phone.

How small can iPods get? I can't help but think of the movie Zoolander where the cell phones are about the size of your pinkie. If it gets about that size, we may as well have them candy flavored so I can eat them as I listen to music.

For all ya'll sick of rubber band bracelets...

I think that this is the perfect solution. I'm tempted to pony up the $5, but then I'd hate myself for putting more money into this than I did with attempts to aid Africa. If they were about $1, I'd be more interested.

I WANT THIS!

Can I have this? Please, please please? *puppy eyes*

I've been such a good girl. Well, good enough for me.
