Well, this explains a lot to me

The Wild Rose

Random Brutal Love Dreamer (RBLD)

The Wild Rose
Colorful, but unpicked. You are The Wild Rose. Prone to bouts of cynicism, sarcasm, and thorns, you excite a certain kind of man. Hoping to gather you up, he flirts and winks and asks you out, ultimately professing his love. Then you make him bleed. Why? Because you're the rare, independent, self-sufficient kind of woman who does want love, but not from a weakling.

You don't seem to take yourself too seriously, and that's refreshing. You aren't uptight; you don't over-plan. Romance-wise, sex isn't a top priority--a true relationship would be preferable. For your age, you haven't had a lot of bonafide love experience, though, and this kind of gets to core of the issue. You're very selective.

The problem is them, not you, right? You have lofty standards that few measure up to. You're out there all right, but not to be picked up by just anyone.

Your exact female opposite:

The Dirty Little Secret

The Dirty Little Secret

Deliberate Gentle Sex Master

Always avoid: The Bachelor (DGSM)

Consider: The Vapor Trail (RBLM)

Because it's not a blog without a quiz:

You Belong in London

A little old fashioned, and a little modern.
A little traditional, and a little bit punk rock.
A unique soul like you needs a city that offers everything.
No wonder you and London will get along so well.

That's pretty much it around here. Things are going alright otherwise.

*whisper* I might have the parenthood thing down. *whispers and looks around for the other shoe to drop*

Of course, they didn't ask me how I used to pronounce "Sandwich"

What American accent do you have?
Your Result: The Midland

"You have a Midland accent" is just another way of saying "you don't have an accent." You probably are from the Midland (Pennsylvania, southern Ohio, southern Indiana, southern Illinois, and Missouri) but then for all we know you could be from Florida or Charleston or one of those big southern cities like Atlanta or Dallas. You have a good voice for TV and radio.

And just so you know, I used to pronounce "sandwich" as "sang-wich" until I met Jeff.

I said "sangwich" once and he stopped and stared at me.

"What?" he asked.

"Sangwich. I'm going to make a sangwich, you want one?"

"It's sandwich," he corrected me.

Even to this day, I know that to irritate him, all I need to do is say "sangwich". Of course now, he just ignores me.

Name?
Age?
You are:
You favourite trick:Appearing in a cloud
Your feeling towards mortals:They make good slaves
When you sleep with mortals, your lover is:
Mortal you'd most like to smite:Ashley Judd

OK. I like the idea of being the goddess of love and war, as well as the view that all mortals are my slaves. However, Boromir as my lover? Feh. Give me Faramir any day. Also, I got no beef against Ashley Judd. She seems alright by me.

HOLY SHIT!

You scored as XVI: The Tower. If badly aspected this can be the worst card of the Tarot deck. The Tower always indicates upheavel, possibly chaos, loss and destruction. Its effects are never pleasant and can be painful. The card illustrates lightning striking the Tower. The lightning cannot be avoided, the destruction it brings is inevitable. All we can do is attempt to survive and rebuild. The Tower brings sudden, severe change. When the Tower appears in a Tarot spread it represents sudden and possibly violent change, disruption or loss.

The two faces of Viv

Stole this from Michelle. I was torn between two pictures:

Your Personality Profile

You are pure, moral, and adaptable.
You tend to blend into your surroundings.
Shy on the outside, you're outspoken to your friends.

You believe that you live a virtuous life...
And you tend to judge others with a harsh eye.
As a result, people tend to crave your approval.

And then there was this one:

Your Personality Profile

You are sexy, powerful, and bold.
You're full of passion and energy...
Sometimes this passion has a dark side.

You feel most alive when you're seducing someone.
You never fail to get someone's attention.
Quick minded, you're also quick to lose your temper!

I'm not sure what to think of both of these results. They're both true, but in different ways (duh!), which is interesting.

thinking dirty, but you're probably less driven to do so than someone

And now: A quiz based on a trilogy that doesn't suck

Right now I'm watching Fellowship. I can't help but insert the word pants into various quotes now:

"Gondor has no pants. Gondor needs no pants."

"Boromir! Give the pants to Frodo."

"The one pants to rule them all."

I'm such a dork. Anyways, here's the quiz (I thought I'd be Samwise, but I can dig this too):
You scored as Gandalf. You are Gandalf! This wise, old mage is loyal and brave. He is known for his counsel and advice to his friends and allies during tough times.

The pose is not an indicator of my marriage

I am a cliff hanger!
Find your own pose!

Cliffhanger Traits and Tendencies
On the surface, the Cliffhanger might seem like an angry pose, the aftermath of a heated argument or years of misunderstanding. Really the pose is an elegant expression of two people in sublime agreement about the supremacy of personal comfort. Both parties believe that when it comes to getting a good night's sleep, the sides of the bed are its most prime real estate, and both are practical enough to recognize that the only way for everyone to get the best of the bed is to split up.

Comfort Zone The Cliffhanger is a Sea Sleeper pose. Other Sea poses a Cliffhanger might try include The Bubble Blower and Sixth Posture of the Perfumed Forest.

Point of Interest
The Cliffhanger pose is the ideal arrangement for couples sharing the bed with an infant or injured animal, with the safety frame of soft humanity that they create together providing a natural "crib bumper."

It's easy being green

Kermit the Frog
You scored 56% Organization, 58% abstract, and 69% extroverted!
This test measured 3 variables.

First, this test measured how organized you are. Some muppets like Cookie Monster make big messes, while others like Bert are quite anal about things being clean.

Second, this test measured if you prefer a concrete or an abstract viewpoint. For the purposes of this test, concrete people are considered to gravitate more to mathematical and logical approaches, whereas abstract people are more the dreamers and artistic type.

Third, this test measured if you are more of an introvert or an extrovert.
By definition, an introvert concentrates more on herself and an
extrovert focuses more on others. In this test an introvert was
somebody that either tends to spend more time alone or thinks more
about herself.

You are mostly organized, both concrete and abstract, and more extroverted.

Here is why are you Kermit the Frog.

You are both somewhat organized. You have a good
idea where you put things and you probably keep your place reasonably
clean. You aren't totally obsessed with neatness though. Kermit is also
reasonably tidy. He'll even dress up for interviews.

You both are sometimes concrete and sometimes abstract thinkers. Kermit
spends a lot of his time as a reporter collecting facts, but he is also
the author of the dreamy song "The Rainbow Connection." You have a good
balance in your life. You know when to be logical at times, but you
also aren't afraid to explore your dreams and desires... within limits
of course.

You are both extroverts. Kermit gets along with everyone. Sure a few
folks annoy him, but that's just because they are annoying. Kermit
likes to meet new people when he does his job as a street reporter. You
definitely enjoy the company of others, and you don't have problems
meeting new people... in fact you probably look forward to it. You are
willing to take charge when necessary or work as part of a team.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, Kermit starred on Sesame Street years before The Muppet Show.

The other possible characters are

Oscar the Grouch

Big Bird

Snuffleupagus

Ernie

Elmo

Cookie Monster

Grover

The Count

Guy Smiley

Bert

If you enjoyed this test, I would love the feedback! Also if you want
to tell me your favorite Sesame Street character, I can total them up
and post them here. Perhaps your choice will win!

I call shenanigans!

Stole this bad boy from Heather's livejournal. There's no scoring, so I don't know if there's a way to tell if you're spoiled or not.

I think it's for a teenager/early 20s person. Not for me, who owns my own house (well, the bank owns it and is kindly letting us live here), has my own job and has the money to spend however I please.

Either that or it's a way to make us think about everything we have and how we feel about it. I'd say you're spoiled if you expect to get your way or if you look at the list and say "Of course. Who wouldn't have this stuff?" You're not spoiled if you have these things and to be thankful for them. I consider myself a lucky girl. Because it's not truly a blog unless there's a meme

You Are Death

You symbolize the end, which can be frightening.
But you also symbolize the immortality of the soul.
You represent transformation, rebirth of a new life.
Sweeping away the past is part of this card, as painful as it may be.

Your fortune:

Don't worry, this card does not predict death itself.
Instead it foreshadows the ending of an era of your life, one that is hard to let go of.
But with the future great new things will come, and it's time to embrace them.
Mourn for a while, but then face the future with humility and courage.

Great. Now all I need is a white horse named Binky and the Death of Rats and life is all good.
