Things that make my brain cells die

At work today we were talking about the BEP song "My Hump." It's an awful earworm song. The minute one of my coworkers sang the line "My lump, my lovely lady lumps," the song was trapped in my head and refused to leave. My brain attempted to resist first, trying to eject itself from my body, but it soon fell under the hypnotic tune.

Fortunately, liberal application of The Clash helped solve that problem and my brain was back to normal, irritated and cranky mode in no time.

The funny thing is that before today, I never heard the original song. On Eve Radio My Hump is often mixed with Elastica's Reaction -- increasing my annoyance factor because I like Reaction.

Anyways, I just saw the video for My Hump just now. Wow. I didn't think a video could get more mindless. Wow. Fergie's voice is REALLY fucking annoying. Wow. I think my brain attempted once again to escape my head.

Fortunately, the Gorillaz is playing on Eve Radio and my brain's decided not to eject thanks to everyone's favorite cartoon band.

I thought I was the only one who thought "my hump" was a painfully painful song...so much so, I wish I could rewind time and avoid that earbleed of a song.... I mean were they really in the studio rocking to this song? Who told them it was the sh*&. They lied....bytheby....love the blog name my fellow taurean.
