Once a year, to keep what geek status I have (which is pretty decent really, when you consider the fact that I'm a gamer), I must leave town in August and head to the mystical lands known as Indianapolis for Geek Mecca.
For four days, I shall worship in game, shopping and general geekiness. There I shall witness chicks in chain mail bikinis, unwashed masses drinking gallons of Mountain Dew and Rob Van Dam.
I shall dine on convention food, Trader Joe's nut mixes and glorious Italian from Bucca di Beppo (I wonder if we'll be *that* table again this year). I shall not sleep much, but geek hard.
