Signs of adulthood.

I'd be the first to admit that I'm an overgrown 12-year-old. I love spending my money on video games, books and toys. But today, I did another thing that shows that I am an adult. An adult with a mortgage, house, husband and two-car garage:

I adjusted my IRA account that I have with my workplace.

Now, I had an IRA similar to a 60-year-old white man on the verge of retirement. Then I came to my senses after a presentation at work today. Now it's more realistic for a 29-year-old woman. Time will tell if I'll be able to retire in the lifestyle that I'm accustomed to, or if I'll be living out of a cardboard box, eating dog food.
