Bitch Magazine is in trouble. They need $40,000 by Oct. 15 or it's all over. Which is a damn shame, because they have some of the better feminist pop culture articles out there. Their magazine is proof positive that loving pop culture doesn't mean that you ONLY read tabloids.
I've always been meaning to pitch to Bitch, but I've always been waiting for the right idea to come along. Now, I might not get that chance, so PLEASE DONATE SO I CAN PITCH TO BITCH!
Or save indie media *grin* We need more alternative voices out there.
