Between naps, breastfeeding, diaper changes and amusing BD, I've been mulling over the following bits:
1. How freakin' cool was it to see John Cho on Ugly Betty? I nearly shrieked with glee when I saw him as the gangsta rapping accountant. Part of me wants Betty to hook up with him instead of Henry, but I'm weird.
2. Speaking of Henry, Jeff is the best husband in the world and kept an eye on BD so I could see Rollins with Nich in Madison on Wednesday. Three hours of funny, sharp monologuing from the elder statesman of rock and roll. I'll confess to the following: When we were coming up with names for boys, I kept campaigning for Henry -- partly because I like the name and partly because of Rollins.
3. Am I now a mommyblogger? I've been mulling over that title since I realized that a lot of my postings as of late focus on motherhood -- the good, the bad, the poop-filled. Admittedly, there's not much else going on in my life right now -- I mean, the baby does take up a lot of energy -- but I do hope that I can talk about other things and not just my kid.
4. Career and life is in transit right now. I don't feel like alluding to it any more than that, but suffice to say, I think that my career is about to shift into something very different in the coming months. Well it will shift, if I can get enough energy to do it and not just talk a good game.

I think we need to talk soon? I think you may be a mommyblogger, but you're that and more. Strange how only so-called "mommyblogging" is compartmentalized and ghettoized in such a fashion.

Either that or we have to meet in Milwaukee. I'm sure my mom won't mind at all playing with her little girl while we wreak havoc or something.
