On a beautiful and a bit windy day, a motley crew of friends, family and random parkgoers witnessed the wedding of Joe and Abby. Like the vast majority of weddings I've been to, this one was filled with fun, frolic and a lot of love.
In the past year or so, I've got to know both Joe and Abby and I can say that they're a lovely couple. It's interesting watching couples and seeing that even though you can have similar interests, it's the differences that result in a rewarding relationship. A couple should never mind-meld into one being like the Borg. Nicknames such as "Jabby" are one thing, but when a couple starts looking and acting similar, you've hit the Twilight Zone.
Congratulations you two. Those of us who are lucky enough to spend the rest of our lives with our best friends (be it through marriage, friendship or otherwise) are fortunate indeed.
