Eva turned me onto this link about the future of news in 2014. A lot of this I already knew about, but it's still nice to get scared shitless about the future of journalism and the media.
Don't get me wrong, I like blogging and I like that more voices are being heard, but there's something about this piece that creeps the living shit out of me. Maybe it's because I don't believe that the Internet will save us from corporate media. Maybe it's that I don't believe any one thing (such as blogging or personalized news) is the best thing for any of us.
If you need me, I'll be hiding under my bed untill the scary media monster goes away.
