They can make musicals out of movies, but this can't go to Broadway?

I so wish that the Jerry Springer opera made it to Broadway. In a time where most of the musicals are huge rehashes of movies, I'd give nearly anything to see a chorus line of KKK members and triple-timing couples singing opera.

Okay, I'm an idiot. Out of the 57 or so shows I saw in London Jerry Springer was not one of them. I had heard a rumor that it was coming to Broadway, and therefore opted out and saw Journey's End. Because a delicate WWI trench drama would NEVER cross the pond.
