Inspired by this Postsecret card:

Is drinking breastmilk an act of cannibalism? What about eating your placenta?

I think too much when I feed BD.

I remember this being a subplot in Friends.

Breast milk and placenta serve one purpose: nutrition. If someone decides to eat one or both, I don't think it can be considered cannibalism, but if a restaurant served placenta filets in breast milk marinade...I'm probably not eating at that restaurant. Or ever walking alone in that restaurant again.

I guess the real question is how comfortable do you feel eating something that dropped out of someone's lady flower?

I don't think so, since cannibalism as all about earting human flesh, not other... products. Right?

I dunno, the idea of drinking one's own breast milk doesn't gross me out. It's your own boob, and we drink cow boob juice all the time.

And now, I will let myself out.

Breast milk is meant to be eaten. Like k. said, you drink the equivalent from cows all the time.

Placenta... not so much meant to be chowed down on directly, but probably not a kind of cannibalism that you should worry about too much. After all, they used to use discarded placentas in shampoo, which I find more disturbing than the idea of someone eating one.

An adult drinking breast milk is not cannibalism. Kinky? Sure. Cannibalism? Not so much.
