Apparently 50 Cent has been making a stir in the media thanks to his interview in Playboy. When talking about homosexuality, he said (and I quote):
"I ain't into faggots. I don't like gay people around me, because I'm not comfortable with what their thoughts are. I'm not prejudiced. I just don't go with gay people and kick it — we don't have that much in common. I'd rather hang out with a straight dude. But women who like women, that's cool."
Nice to see that the girl on girl action is still considered not being gay. *sarcasm off*
Now, I could rail on about the man's rapping abilities (which are lazy, mushmouthed and horrid. I'm guessing that one of the nine bullets that hit him severed his tongue. How he got a record contract escapes me), but this is more of a focus on the stupid idea that girl-girl action isn't "gay."
Maybe it's because I'm not a Neanderthal, but can someone explain how boy-boy action is gay, but girl-girl action isn't? Is it because of porn films that portray girl-girl action as the precursor to the man jumping in for a threesome? I don't get it.
How does 50 Cent know that a gay man's thoughts are different than his? Can he read people's minds? Is that why his rapping is so lazy -- because he's occupied with reading people's minds so he can find the gay people and avoid them?
I hate to say it, but he's just echoing the thoughts of many people out there. He's just saying the stuff that many people don't want to say, but silently support (I'm looking at you banning gay marriage bullshit argument). Many stupid people.
